This handle is designed to fit Yoshihiro Sujihiki knives. Sujihiki knives are long, narrow slicers used for clean cuts through proteins.
This handle pairs a Yoshihiro ebony wood body with a water buffalo horn bolster and three decorative rings set into the collar. Ebony is a dense, fine-grained hardwood valued in Japanese knife handles for its deep black color and smooth finish. Water buffalo horn is a natural material, so its color varies from piece to piece, making each handle one of a kind.
It's built in the traditional octagonal Japanese handle shape and is available for blade lengths of 9.5" (240mm), 10.5" (270mm), and 11.8" (300mm). This listing is for the handle only; the knife blade is sold separately.
